KNX Basic Certification (Foundation) is a structured 4-day training programme that introduces participants to the world of KNX, the global standard for intelligent building automation. The course is designed for professionals seeking foundational knowledge in smart building systems and covers essential topics such as KNX fundamentals, system architecture, topology, components, project design, commissioning, diagnostics, and KNX Secure principles.
In addition to the core technical modules, the programme includes a ThinkProp-exclusive module focused on the role of smart homes and smart-ready buildings in the real estate market. This module highlights how KNX contributes to ROI, property value enhancement, investor expectations, and the positioning of smart properties in the market. The course combines technical learning with practical hands-on lab experience and concludes with theoretical and practical assessments leading to the official KNX Partner Certification.

The 4th day is conducted face to face and is dedicated to the final assessments, including the theoretical exam and the practical exam.
