What are the educational qualifications needed to enroll in the Abu Dhabi Surveying Course? Arrow Arrow
To be eligible to enroll in the Abu Dhabi Surveying Course, you must hold a university degree with equivalency issued by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education.

No prior experience is required to enroll in the Abu Dhabi Surveying Course.
The course is mandatory for anyone aiming to become a licensed real estate surveyor in Abu Dhabi, as required by the relevant authorities.
Log in to the TAMM portal using your UAE Pass. Navigate to “Issue Surveying Licence.” Upload the following documents: Certified course completion certificate Valid Emirates ID Police clearance certificate University degree with UAE equivalency Experience certificates Any relevant professional certificates Signed survey undertaking letter Ensure the following conditions are met: All documents are valid and updated Emirates ID is active No legal or administrative blocks on your profile “Update Professional Details” application (if required) is completed Submit the application. Upon approval, the surveying license will be issued through the TAMM portal.

No. Any form of communication-such as phone calls, messages, emails, or chat applications-is strictly prohibited during the exam.
No. The exam must be completed individually. Any form of collaboration or assistance is considered a violation.
Any attempt to cheat, copy answers, or gain an unfair advantage will result in cancellation of your exam attempt and may lead to additional disciplinary actions.
No. Recording the exam or capturing the screen in any form is strictly prohibited and considered a breach of exam security.
Unusual movements, frequent looking away from the screen, or abnormal system activity may be flagged and reviewed as potential misconduct.
Violations may result in one or more of the following actions: cancellation of the exam attempt, invalidation of results, disqualification, restriction from future attempts, and/or requirement to pay full exam fees again.
No. The use of multiple screens, external displays, VPNs, screen sharing, or remote access tools is strictly prohibited.
Yes. Serious violations-such as impersonation or unauthorized distribution of exam content-may result in legal action and reporting to the relevant authorities.
No. Switching between tabs, windows, or browsers is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the exam.
1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager. 2. Look through Apps and Background processes for AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Zoom or similar tools. 3. Select it and click End task. Do this before you click Start Exam, especially on a work computer where such tools can start automatically. If your IT policy relaunches them, use a personal computer instead.
No. The use of AI tools, search engines, or any external digital assistance is strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
A multiple login is when your account is used from more than one device, or in two browsers at the same time, including automatic sign-in on a phone or tablet. The exam closes automatically and is recorded as a violation. Before you start: sign out of your account on every other device, close other browsers, open the exam in one window only, and make sure nothing signs in to your account while you sit the exam.
The exam follows a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of cheating or academic misconduct. All candidates must complete the exam independently and with full integrity.
The exam is monitored by SMOWL through your webcam. Please use a laptop or desktop (not a phone or tablet); sign in from one device only; make sure no other browser or device is logged in to your account; and make sure no remote-access or screen-sharing tool (for example AnyDesk, TeamViewer or Zoom) is running in the background, even if you are not using it. These rules are stated in the FAQs, the dashboard announcement, the pop-up shown before the exam and the Exam Declaration.
The course is delivered either in-person or virtually over 3 days, with a total duration of 15 hours.
For in-person sessions, the training location will be shared via email a few days before the course start date. You can also find it in the “Location” section of your course dashboard.
Yes, a certificate will be issued within 2 to 4 working days upon completion of the course, attendance of all sessions, and achieving a minimum score of 70% on the final exam.
You must hold a valid Emirates ID to register for the course. And to get your license you have to be at least 25 years old. 
The final exam is conducted online and consists of multiple-choice and true/false questions.
The online exam duration is 45 minutes.
A minimum passing score of 70% is required to successfully complete the course.
You may retake the exam once at no additional cost. If a third attempt is needed, a fee of AED 500 + VAT will apply.

Yes, you may reschedule your training session up to 7 days before the course start date.
Both the surveying license and course completion certificate are valid for one year from the date of issue.

If you're unable to attend the course, notify us at least 7 days in advance to request a refund or reschedule. Requests made after that period are not eligible. For emergencies, such as illness, a valid medical certificate will be required.
