You must complete 2 core and 3 elective courses to earn your CIPS designation. Then, you are going to submit your designation application demonstrating 100 points of international experience.

Terms and Conditions

  • Course attendance is mandatory.
  • The course fee includes the training only.
  • A certificate of attendance will be issued electronically upon completion of the training.
  • To receive the official CIPS Designation certification, participants must be existing International NAR members.
  • Students must keep their cameras on throughout the course. If a student turns off their camera, the instructor may remove them from the class.
  • Students are required to attend and actively participate in all workshops and class activities.
  • Students may be required to complete a test at the end of each course.
  • Students must be fully engaged during the course and may not work or perform other activities while attending. Hybrid attendance is provided only to support participants who are unable to travel long distances, and not for participants to attend while working or doing other tasks.

Global Real Estate: Local Markets Arrow Arrow

This course provides the tools and concepts real estate professionals need to serve clients and customers in the global real estate market.  Understand the social, political, geographical, and cultural characteristics of the U.S. to better comprehend how the real estate market functions.  Finally, you will gain the tools needed to adapt to the standards, customs, and cultural norms of the U.S. real estate industry that will enable you to achieve success.

This course introduces real estate professionals to the basic skills and knowledge necessary to facilitate international transactions with clients from Asia. The course benefits both experienced real estate professionals as well as those just getting started.

This course provides you with the tools and concepts real estate professionals need to serve clients and customers in the global real estate market. You will learn how to identify important laws, cultural norms, and geographic factors of various European markets that will help you facilitate successful real estate transactions. You will also assess opportunities in the European real estate markets by understanding the history of specific regions, investment patterns, and real estate trends. Finally, you will learn ways to gain additional information and develop a professional network to enhance an international business with European clients and properties.

This course teaches real estate professionals how to increase their adaptability to future market trends. It addresses issues of diversity, fair housing, and cultural differences. How to apply for an International NAR Membership Arrow Arrow
To apply for your NAR membership, follow the steps below: Visit the International NAR Membership page here . Click “Join NAR” Fill out the form and complete the payment process for the International NAR Membership fees, which are USD 75. Once your membership has been confirmed, your membership kit will be delivered to you via US Postal Mail within 6-8 weeks.
To continue to benefit from your International NAR Membership, including access to the NAR network and many other perks, you will have to pay a yearly fee of USD 220. Here’s how to do it. Visit the International NAR Membership page here . Click “Pay International REALTOR® Member Dues” Log in with your username and password. Follow the membership renewal process and complete the payment process.
The one-time application fee is USD 75, and the annual renewal fee is USD 220. Your application must be accompanied by the payment for your application fee. Payments are accepted in the form of an authorized credit card payment. Payments by credit card should be made through the NAR E-commerce System: www.nar.realtor/intlcipsapp .
At the end of each online class, you will take a test covering the course content for a total of five tests. Each test must be passed with 70% or more of the questions answered correctly. For Face to Face trainings, the test will be done during the session. There are no additional tests required to earn your CIPS designation.
To successfully receive your CIPS designation, you need to consider the following: Complete your CIPS designation through ThinkProp in parallel with applying for the International NAR Membership, as explained above. Once you have completed your designation training, ThinkProp will verify your membership with NAR, and you will be granted the CIPS designation accordingly.
