About
Abdulla Al Wahedi, a leading facilities management expert, is the founder and owner of Irtikaz Group, which provides property and owners association management services in Dubai. With over 20 years of experience, he held key roles, including Senior Director of Facilities Management at Emaar Properties, overseeing iconic projects like Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, and leading Emaar District Cooling Company. Abdulla also supported FM operations in Emaar's international subsidiaries in Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
Expertise
Abdulla’s experience is not limited to the real estate sector; it also includes vast experience in telecommunication and district cooling services. At the beginning of his career, Abdulla worked on the first commercial district cooling plant in the UAE with The National District Cooling Company “Tabreed.” Later, he moved to Etisalat and managed various telecommunication and commercial buildings. During his tenure with Etisalat, he was privileged to be part of the project team that set up the second mobile telecom operator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, “Mobily,” and was responsible for developing and operating its MEP services in the eastern province.
Abdulla is a certified facilities management trainer for MEFMA and a regular participant in regional property and facilities management conferences. Abdulla holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Seattle University, an MBA from the American University of Sharjah, and a Master's in International Law from the University of Paris. Also, he is a graduate of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) and has won the Sheikh Rashid Award for Academic Achievement.
