ThinkProp recently held a ceremony at the Jumeirah Resort on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi where it awarded licenses to the first batch of graduates of a specialized training program for real estate professionals, including brokers, valuers, and surveyors. The program, offered by ThinkProp Real Estate Training Institute in partnership with DMT, aims to develop an integrated and sustainable real estate system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by providing necessary training and support for real estate professionals, developers, and individuals working in the sector.
It allows trainees to obtain a license to work in the real estate industry and to improve their skills and experience in accordance with the regulations, laws, and policies governing the sector. The program is also designed to teach real estate professionals according to best international practices in order to provide high-quality customer service. The ultimate goal of the program is to increase the attractiveness of Abu Dhabi's real estate market and boost investor confidence, helping the city become a top destination for investment, living, working, and visiting.
The ceremony, attended by several dignitaries and officials, including His Excellency Dr. Adeeb Al-Afifi, Executive Director of the Real Estate Sector at DMT, highlighted the importance of real estate professionals in driving the sector's growth in Abu Dhabi and the need for official licensing to regulate the industry, protect the rights of investors and customers, and enable professionals to follow best practices.
Moath Maqbool, General Manager of Advanced Real Estate Services Company (ADRES), also emphasized the role of real estate education in building a qualified workforce, fostering professionalism and best practices, and realizing the UAE government's vision of building a robust and regulated market.
ThinkProp has certified over 400 top graduates in the real estate industry and attracted more than 150 real estate agencies to register with ThinkProp in various professions.
